Shaarei Tikva
Shaarei Tikva is a rural community that was established in the early 1980s. It is located on the western slopes of the Samaria Mountains, at an altitude of 200 m above sea level, and enjoys a comfortable climate and a spectacular panoramic view overlooking the coastal plain, from Hadera to Ashdod. Today it is home to about 6,000 people, a diverse human mosaic that belongs to a solidary and value-based community. Living in it side by side secular and religious, veterans and new immigrants, young and old in harmony with tolerance and respect for the other. The settlement is located next to Road No. 5 and enjoys a well-developed road system that allows exceptional access quickly and safely to the urban space of Gush Dan. Driving by car from Shaarei Tikva to Tel Aviv during off-peak hours takes about 30 minutes and without traffic lights on the way. In Shaarei Tikva there are mainly detached houses, and you can find many social services such as a shopping center, clinics, synagogues, a library, cafes and a sports club that includes a pool, gym and tennis courts. All this does not come at the expense of being a well-kept and green settlement, abundant in gardens and public gardens, natural areas and numerous views. For the ninth year in a row, the community won the Council of Israel's Beautiful Award for 5 beauty stars. The security of the settlement is one of the most advanced, and includes a circumferential trail, a "smart fence" and patrols of security vehicles.
